Wouldn’t you say that poor decision making is a sign of an immature, young team without a lot of PL experience? This means in 1-2 years we should be excellent
So spurs are wasteful in that they do not create enough high xg chances even when they dominate play? Is that the main takeaway? Ange did say we need attacking enforcements in January so maybe he's aware of this issue.
Right. We get into promising positions territorially and in terms of expected threat, but that doesn't quite translate into an xG (and goal output) as high as our territorial advantages suggest we should be producing. More concretely, this means we possess the ball in the final 3rd quite a lot but make poor decisions with it in situations that might otherwise--with a good decision or a quality final pass--result in a chance on goal or a goal itself. And that's probably psychologically devastating when we're pressing and playing forward with such intensity, especially when we concede a soft goal against the run of play.
It's a bit weird that we're having issues attacking. I believe his Celtic team had particular attacking patterns which led to a boatload of goals for the main striker (which contrasts drastically with Solanke currently).
Anyways, I hope the manager is given till at least the end of the season. #COYS!
Not your fault; probably sometimes I just am not as clear as I could be. But yeah, another thing I'm wondering about is if Solanke is actually getting too involved in buildup, coming too deep, doing too much hold-up, instead of getting on the other end of crosses and playing further forward. My guess is if we had more 1v1 wingers who could get to the byline and cross on both sides, we'd see Solanke doing more of the Celtic 9 role.
We miss Odobert so much. A winger that genuinely wants to take on players. If I was a coach and I had a dribbly winger I would build everything around him. Hopefully Min-hyeok Yang is ready to contribute as soon as he arrives as well.

Yes, I think that's a big part of it.

Thanks for re-explaining. (I'm not that bright).
